Marina Adamyan is known as a seasoned Global HealthInnovator and multi-stakeholder partnership diplomat with 23 years in sustainable development covering Middle East, Eastern Europe, East and Southern Africa, Central and South Asia.

Since 1995, she has influenced development policies, provided policy advice and support, mobilised resources, designed and implemented evidence based programs, led social innovation and cross-sector integration, fostered multi-stakeholder partnerships, monitored/evaluated and assured quality of development programs at scale with 29 countries in 7 regions.

During her career journey, Marina’s progressive technical advisory, operational, new business development and strategic leadership roles spanned all aspects of global health – including Nutrition and Food Security; Health Systems Strengthening; Maternal, New-born, Child Health and Nutrition; Adolescent Health; HIV response; Behavior Change Communication; Health in All Policies. Her most recent focus is on nutrition value chain with emphasis on nutrition-agriculture-livelihood nexus; market solutions for development at the Base of the Pyramid and tri-sector partnerships in support of it.

Marina was a post-graduate fellow at the department of International Health of Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHU-BSPH), USA in 1999. She was also a visiting scholar at Child Survival Collaboration and Resources (CORE) Group, USA in 2004. She previously worked with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), American University of Armenia (AUA), Armenian Technology Group (ATG).

Marina has MPH (1997) from JHU BSPH affiliated AUA and an executive MBA (2014) from Innovative Management Center of Athabasca University in Canada.
